Typical Duties

Cleaning responsibilities will vary depending on the client’s home, but commonly include:

Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas
Vacuuming carpets and rugs
Dusting and polishing surfaces
Mopping or steam-cleaning floors
General tidying and household upkeep
Cleaning inside windows and similar tasks

Requirements

Applicants should:

Be comfortable working on a self-employed basis
Have a minimum of one year’s experience in domestic cleaning or a related role
Be able to provide two references
Hold a driving licence and have access to a car, as some client homes are not easily reached by public transport
Ideally live in or near Lancaster
