Typical Cleaning Duties

Each customer’s home is different, but cleaning duties may include:

Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
Dusting and polishing furniture and surfaces
Vacuuming carpets and floors
Mopping hard flooring
Tidying living rooms, bedrooms and other areas
Cleaning internal windows and similar household areas
General household cleaning based on the customer’s priorities

Requirements

Applicants should:

Be happy working on a self-employed basis
Have at least one year of domestic cleaning experience or similar experience
Be reliable, punctual and able to work to a good standard
Be able to provide two references
Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as some homes may not be convenient by public transport
Ideally live in or near Chorley

We also welcome applications from cleaners who already have their own customers and would like to add more regular cleaning work locally.
