Regular Domestic Cleaning Work in Rotherham
Diamond Home Support is looking for self-employed cleaners to take on regular work with households across Rotherham.
If you’re looking for cleaning work without committing to fixed employment hours, this could be a good fit. We source the client enquiries and arrange introductions. You decide whether each client works for you based on their location, required day and the hours you have available.
How Your Cleaning Round Can Work
Rather than changing locations and clients all the time, the focus is on regular domestic cleaning. Most households want their cleaner to visit once a week or once every two weeks.
Once you’ve agreed to work with a client, you’ll normally return to that property at the same agreed time. This makes it easier to build a predictable diary and plan other commitments around your cleaning work.
Payment for each visit is made directly to you by the client. Insurance is provided for cleaning work introduced through Diamond Home Support.
The Work You’ll Be Doing
Clients will discuss their individual cleaning requirements with you. A normal visit might involve:
- Cleaning the kitchen, including worktops and sinks
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers and toilets
- Vacuuming carpets and flooring
- Dusting surfaces, furniture and shelves
- Polishing where needed
- Mopping or steam cleaning hard flooring
- Cleaning internal windows
- General domestic cleaning agreed with the household
You won’t be expected to supply cleaning products or equipment. Clients provide everything needed for cleaning their property.
How Many Hours Do You Have Available?
That’s up to you. You can take on work on particular weekdays, fill a few gaps in your existing diary or develop a larger part-time cleaning round.
Appointments are normally available during weekday daytime hours. Evening and weekend work isn’t required.

What We Need From You
You’ll be working on a self-employed basis and should be able to manage your own appointments reliably.
Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred, but we’ll also consider relevant experience gained in other cleaning roles.
Applicants must be able to provide two references. You’ll also need a driving licence and access to a car, as not every client’s home will be convenient to reach by public transport.

That’s absolutely fine. You can continue working with your existing clients and consider additional Diamond Home Support introductions when they fit into your diary.
