Domestic Cleaning Opportunities in King’s Lynn

Our clients across King’s Lynn need dependable cleaners who can provide an ongoing service in their homes. Most require cleaning either every week or every fortnight, providing the opportunity to develop a regular local client base rather than relying on occasional one-off jobs.

Diamond Home Support deals with finding suitable clients and provides insurance for the work you carry out. You remain in control of your availability, the amount of work you accept and how far you are prepared to travel.

How the Work is Arranged

When a suitable client becomes available, we introduce you and arrange an agreed cleaning schedule. You will generally return to the same home at the same time and on the same day each week or fortnight.

The role includes:

£15.00 per hour, paid directly to you by each client
Regular clients in and around King’s Lynn
Insurance provided for your cleaning work
Freedom to choose your available days and hours
The ability to select the areas you want to cover
Daytime work, with no evenings or weekends required
Local support from Diamond Home Support

What Will You Be Doing?

Your work will depend on the individual household, but regular tasks can include:

Cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances
Cleaning bathrooms, showers and toilets
Dusting furniture and surfaces
Polishing
Vacuuming carpets and floors
Mopping or steam cleaning hard floors
Cleaning internal windows

What We Look For

You will work on a self-employed basis and should have at least one year of previous domestic cleaning experience or experience in a similar role.

You will need to provide two references and, because clients can be located across the King’s Lynn area, you should have a driving licence and your own car.

Applicants living in or near King’s Lynn are particularly suitable, as this can help keep travelling between clients to a minimum.

If you already have your own cleaning round, you can also apply for additional clients to fill gaps in your existing schedule.

You decide how many clients you want to take on. You might want a few hours of additional work or be looking to develop a more substantial weekly cleaning round.

Regular appointments allow you to plan ahead, while keeping the flexibility that comes with working on a self-employed basis.
