Job Description
Diamond Home Support is looking for self-employed domestic cleaners to take on regular clients in and around March. You can choose the amount of work you want and build a weekly schedule around the days and times you are available.
About Working in March
March and the nearby area have households looking for regular, reliable domestic cleaning. Rather than having to advertise and find new clients yourself, Diamond Home Support can introduce you to people looking for ongoing cleaning visits. Insurance is provided for the work we arrange, leaving you free to concentrate on your clients and manage your own working week.
What You Can Expect
We arrange regular clients who generally require cleaning every week or fortnight. Visits are agreed for a particular day and time, giving you a predictable diary rather than constantly changing appointments.
Clients pay you directly for the cleaning you provide. You decide which clients to accept, how many hours you want to work and the locations around March you’re prepared to cover. Cleaning visits normally take place during weekdays, so you won’t usually need to work evenings or weekends. Your local Diamond Home Support office is available to help with any queries relating to clients we introduce.
Main Tasks
Every home is different, but your regular cleaning could include:
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Vacuuming carpets and flooring
- Dusting furniture and surfaces
- Polishing where required
- Mopping or steaming hard floors
- Cleaning internal windows
- Other general domestic cleaning
What You Need
Previous experience with domestic cleaning is preferred, ideally for at least a year, although similar experience will also be considered. You’ll need to work on a self-employed basis and be able to provide two references.
You will also need a driving licence and access to a car, as not every client can be conveniently reached using public transport. Living in March or nearby will help you keep travelling between your regular clients manageable.
