Self-Employed Cleaner Opportunity – Newcastle upon Tyne
Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour
Role: Self-employed – Part-time – Flexible working hours
About the Role
We are seeking dependable, self-employed cleaners to join Diamond Home Support in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will develop a regular client list and choose the days, hours and locations that work best for your schedule.
Domestic Cleaning in Newcastle upon Tyne
Demand for trustworthy cleaners remains steady across the city's busy range of households. We find the clients and provide insurance cover, leaving you free to select the jobs, hours and areas that suit your circumstances — whether you are working around another job, school drop-offs and pick-ups, or everyday commitments.
What to Expect
After you're matched with clients, you'll support them weekly or fortnightly at times arranged in advance, giving you a clear schedule instead of leaving your week uncertain. The rates are competitive, and each client pays you directly. Every job you accept is covered by insurance. You choose your own hours and service area, with no evening or weekend work required. Our local Newcastle office is also available to provide support whenever you need it.
Typical Tasks
Each home is different, but your work may include cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping or steam-cleaning floors, polishing surfaces, general tidying, and cleaning internal windows.
What We're Looking For
You'll need to be self-employed, have around a year's experience cleaning homes or doing similar work, and provide two references. A car and driving licence are required because some clients are not easily reached by public transport. Living near Newcastle can help reduce travel time, and you're also welcome to apply if you already have clients and would like to add more hours.
Why Cleaners Like This Role
The role offers flexible hours that fit around your day, casual clothing, and a reliable stream of nearby clients, helping you avoid spending too much time travelling.
How to Apply
Choose Apply Now, complete the brief form, and select Newcastle upon Tyne as your preferred area. We'll assess your application and contact you shortly.
