Domestic Cleaning Opportunities in Taunton
Diamond Home Support is recruiting self-employed cleaners to provide regular cleaning for households in Taunton and nearby areas.
You don’t need to find the clients yourself. We receive enquiries from people looking for a regular cleaner and can introduce you when their requirements match the days, times and locations you’re willing to work.
You remain in control of which opportunities you accept and how many hours you want to work.
A Consistent Weekly Routine
Most of the work involves returning to the same homes regularly rather than taking on different one-off jobs. Clients typically arrange cleaning once a week or every fortnight.
You’ll agree the day and time directly with each client, making it possible to organise several regular appointments into a schedule that suits you.
Clients pay you directly for the cleaning you carry out. Diamond Home Support provides insurance for work arranged through us.
What Could You Be Doing?
Every household has different requirements. During a regular cleaning visit, you might be asked to:
- Clean bathrooms, showers, sinks and toilets
- Clean kitchen worktops, sinks and surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and flooring
- Dust furniture and household surfaces
- Polish furniture where required
- Mop or steam clean suitable hard floors
- Clean internal windows
- Carry out other agreed general domestic cleaning
You won’t need to arrive with a car full of cleaning supplies. Products and equipment are provided by the client and kept at their home.
Set Your Own Availability
This opportunity can work around other commitments because you decide when you’re available.
You might want a handful of regular appointments each week or enough clients to create a fuller part-time schedule. You can also choose the parts of Taunton and the surrounding area that you’re prepared to cover.
Cleaning appointments generally take place during weekday daytime hours. Evening and weekend work isn’t required.
Who Would Suit This Work?
We’re looking for people who can work independently, turn up reliably for agreed appointments and provide a consistent standard of cleaning.
Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred, although relevant experience from other cleaning work can also be considered.
You’ll need:
- To work on a self-employed basis
- Two references
- A driving licence
- Access to your own car
- To be able to travel to clients around Taunton
