If you are an experienced cleaner looking for additional work locally, Diamond Home Support can introduce you to households in Aylesbury that need regular domestic cleaning.

Rather than giving you a set rota, we look at when you are available and the areas you are happy to travel to. Suitable clients can then be offered to you. You decide which work you want to accept and how many hours you would like to build into your week.

How the Work Is Arranged

Most clients are looking for cleaning either every week or every fortnight. Once you take on a client, visits are normally arranged for an agreed day and time, giving both you and the client a regular routine.

Clients pay you directly for the cleaning you carry out. Diamond Home Support arranges the introductions and provides insurance for work undertaken through us.

The aim is to match you with homes that are practical for your location and availability, rather than expecting you to travel unnecessarily between jobs.

What Will You Be Cleaning?

There isn’t a fixed checklist for every property because each household has different requirements. Regular cleaning will commonly involve:

• Bathrooms, showers and toilets
• Kitchen surfaces and work areas
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Vacuuming carpets and other flooring
• Mopping or steam cleaning hard floors
• Internal window cleaning
• General cleaning around the home

You do not need to carry cleaning supplies between appointments. Clients provide the products and equipment used in their homes.

Hours That Work Around You

You tell us when you are available. This could be a few hours on particular days or a larger part-time schedule across the week.

Our domestic cleaning work generally takes place during the daytime from Monday to Friday, so you are not expected to be available for evening or weekend appointments.

Who Would This Suit?

We are particularly interested in people with previous domestic cleaning experience, although experience from other relevant cleaning roles can also be considered.

You will need to:

• Work on a self-employed basis
• Provide two references
• Have a driving licence and access to a car
