Job Description

We are looking for self-employed cleaners to take on regular domestic cleaning work in and around Buckingham. Diamond Home Support introduces you to local clients looking for ongoing help in their homes, allowing you to build a working week around the days and hours that suit you.

Most visits are arranged weekly or fortnightly, and wherever possible you will return to the same homes at an agreed day and time.

Cleaning Work Around Buckingham

Our clients are households throughout Buckingham and nearby areas who are looking for someone to help with their regular domestic cleaning.

You decide how much work you want to take on and which locations are practical for you. We deal with finding clients and arranging introductions, while you concentrate on providing the cleaning service. Insurance is also provided for the work you undertake through us.

This can suit someone looking for a few hours each week, a larger part-time schedule, or an experienced cleaner wanting to add more clients to an existing round.

What You’ll Get

• £14.00 per hour, paid directly to you by each client

The Cleaning

Every home is different, but a typical visit may involve:

• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
• Vacuuming carpets and floors
• Dusting furniture and surfaces
• Polishing
• Mopping or steam cleaning hard floors
• Cleaning internal windows
• Other general domestic cleaning

You won’t need to supply cleaning products or equipment. These are provided by the client in their home.

What We’re Looking For

Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred, although we will also consider relevant experience from similar work.

You will need to be self-employed and able to provide two references. You should also be a driver with access to a car, as some of the homes we cover are difficult to reach conveniently by public transport.

Being based in or close to Buckingham will help you keep travelling time between clients to a minimum.

If you already clean for your own clients, you can also apply for additional work to fill gaps in your existing schedule.
