Self-Employed Cleaner Vacancy - Neath

Rate: £14.50 per hour

Job Type: Self-employed. Part-time. Flexible hours.

Job Description

We're looking for a reliable, self-employed cleaner to take on regular clients across Neath. You'll build up your own set of weekly or fortnightly bookings and shape your working week around them.

About Working in Neath

Neath sits close to the M4 corridor between Swansea and the valleys, and our clients here range from families in the town itself to households out towards the Vale of Neath and the surrounding villages. Many are dual-income households who'd rather have someone reliable handle the cleaning than try to fit it in around work. We take care of finding clients and arranging insurance, so you can focus on the cleaning and build a schedule that fits around your own life.

What You Can Expect

We'll match you with clients across Neath who need regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning. Visits are arranged for set times, so you'll always know your schedule in advance. Clients pay you directly, the rate is competitive, and you're insured while carrying out the work. You choose your own hours and which parts of Neath you'd like to cover, with no requirement to work evenings or weekends. Our local team is on hand if you ever need support.

Main Tasks

Typical duties include:

  • Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms

  • Dusting and polishing surfaces

  • Vacuuming

  • Mopping or steaming floors

  • Tidying rooms

  • Cleaning internal windows or similar household areas

What You Need

You'll need to be working on a self-employed basis with at least a year's experience in domestic cleaning or similar work, plus two references. A car and driving licence are useful, as some clients are out towards the Vale of Neath and nearby villages rather than the town centre. Living in or near Neath is a real advantage for keeping travel time down. Cleaners who already have their own clients and want extra hours are also welcome to apply.

Why This Role Appeals to Many

The appeal here is having control over your own diary rather than someone else's rota, no dress code beyond casual clothing, and a steady base of local clients that means reliable income without long journeys out of the area.

Next Steps

If this sounds like the right fit, hit Apply Now and complete the short form, choosing Neath as your preferred area. We'll review your application and be in touch shortly after.
