Looking for Regular Cleaning Work in Cirencester?
Diamond Home Support has opportunities for self-employed cleaners who would like regular domestic cleaning work with households in Cirencester and the surrounding area.
You can choose the days and times you are available and tell us how far you are prepared to travel. We then introduce you to suitable local clients, leaving you free to decide which opportunities you want to take on.
A Regular Routine Without Fixed Employment Hours
One of the advantages of this type of work is being able to create a schedule that works for you. Clients usually require a visit once a week or once a fortnight. Once arrangements are agreed, you will normally visit that household on the same day and at the same time.
You could work just a few hours each week or gradually take on more clients as your availability allows.
For the cleaning you undertake:
- You earn £15.00 per hour
- Clients pay you directly
- You decide which days and hours you are available
- You can choose the locations you are willing to cover
- Insurance is provided for work arranged through Diamond Home Support
- Cleaning takes place during the week, with no requirement to work evenings or weekends
Areas We Cover in Cirencester
Client rounds are currently built across: Stratton, Chesterton, South Cerney, Siddington, Baunton.
If you're based in or near any of these neighbourhoods (roughly the GL postcode area), you'll usually find clients within a short travelling distance. Coverage expands as new client sign-ups come in, so let us know your preferred area when you apply.
Vacancy Specifics in Cirencester
We're building out our self-employed cleaning team for client rounds in Cirencester. Each visit generally lasts 2–3 hours, with the majority of clients preferring a weekly or fortnightly clean, giving you a predictable, regular workload. Each clean is paid out straight away once it's completed. Some prior cleaning experience is preferred, and because you set your own availability, it fits around whatever else is going on in your week. Apply now and we'll pair you with rounds close to you.
What Does a Typical Visit Involve?
You’ll be helping clients keep on top of the regular cleaning in their homes. Requirements differ between properties, but your work could include:
- Cleaning baths, showers, sinks and toilets
- Wiping kitchen worktops and cleaning kitchen areas
- Dusting surfaces and furniture
- Vacuuming carpets and flooring
- Polishing where required
- Mopping or steam cleaning floors
- Cleaning internal windows
- Other general domestic cleaning agreed with the client
There is no need to bring your own cleaning kit. Each client supplies the products and equipment used in their home.
Is This Suitable for You?
We are looking for people who are comfortable working independently in clients’ homes and who have previous domestic cleaning experience or relevant experience from similar work.
You’ll need to be able to provide two references and work on a self-employed basis.
A driving licence and access to a car are also required. Cirencester covers a relatively wide area and some clients may be in locations where relying on public transport would make regular visits difficult.
Already Working as a Cleaner?
You don’t need to give up your existing clients. If you have spaces in your current cleaning round, we can introduce you to additional households that fit around the work you already have.
Equally, if you’re looking to establish a regular part-time cleaning schedule from scratch, you can build up your hours as suitable clients become available.
