Diamond Home Support is recruiting reliable self-employed cleaners to work with clients throughout the Ashford area. The role gives you the freedom to decide when and where you work, with regular cleaning visits that can be fitted around your other commitments.

What You Can Expect

Most clients require cleaning either weekly or fortnightly, usually on an agreed day and at the same time for each visit. This makes it easier to build a regular cleaning round and know what work you have coming up.

You will be paid directly by your clients for the cleaning you complete. You choose how many hours you want to take on and which parts of the Ashford area you are happy to travel to. Work is generally during the daytime from Monday to Friday, with no requirement to work evenings or weekends. Your local Diamond Home Support office is also available if you need help with an introduced client.

Main Tasks

Typical duties include:

Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
Dusting and polishing surfaces
Vacuuming
Mopping or steaming floors
Tidying rooms
Cleaning internal windows or similar household areas

What You Need

You will need to work on a self-employed basis and ideally have at least a year of domestic cleaning experience, although relevant experience in a similar role may also be considered. We require two references.

A driving licence and access to a car are important, as some clients may live in locations that are difficult to reach by public transport. Being based in or around Ashford will also make it easier to keep travelling between clients to a minimum.
