Choose Cleaning Work That Fits Your Week

Diamond Home Support is recruiting self-employed cleaners for regular domestic cleaning work with households in Dartford and the surrounding area.

The arrangement is simple. You tell us when you’re available and where you’re prepared to work. We find suitable clients and make the introductions, then you decide which cleaning appointments you want to accept.

Your Clients and Appointments

The majority of the work is ongoing rather than one-off cleaning. A client will typically need you once a week or every fortnight and, once an appointment has been agreed, you’ll normally return to their home on the same day and at the same time.

This gives you a diary of regular appointments that you can organise around your other commitments.

Clients pay you directly for the cleaning you complete. Insurance is provided for work arranged through Diamond Home Support.

What Might a Cleaning Visit Include?

Each client will have different priorities for their home, so the exact work varies. Common tasks include:

Cleaning baths, showers, sinks and toilets
Wiping down kitchen worktops and surfaces
Vacuuming carpets and flooring
Dusting furniture, shelves and other surfaces
Polishing
Mopping or steam cleaning suitable floors
Cleaning internal windows
Other regular household cleaning agreed with the client

All cleaning products and equipment are provided by the client at their home.

Decide How Much You Want to Work

You don’t have to commit to a set number of hours. You can accept a few regular clients or build a busier part-time schedule depending on your availability.

Cleaning visits are generally arranged during the daytime, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend work isn’t normally required.

You can also choose which parts of Dartford and the surrounding area you want to cover, helping you keep travelling between appointments manageable.

Could This Work for You?

We’re looking for people with previous domestic cleaning experience or suitable experience from another cleaning role.

You’ll be working independently in clients’ homes, so reliability and being able to maintain regular appointments are important.

Applicants need to:

Work on a self-employed basis
Provide two references
Hold a driving licence
Have access to their own car
Be able to travel to clients around Dartford
