You'll be introduced to local Bude clients wanting weekly or fortnightly cleaning, with visits set at fixed times so your schedule is always sorted well ahead. Each client pays you directly at a competitive rate, and insurance covers the work you carry out. Your hours and the areas you cover are entirely up to you, there's no evening or weekend work expected, and the Bude office is there whenever you need a hand.

The Tasks

Typical duties include:

Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
Dusting and polishing surfaces
Vacuuming
Mopping or steaming floors
Tidying rooms
Cleaning internal windows or similar household areas

What's Expected of You

You'll need to be self-employed, with at least a year's experience in domestic cleaning or something comparable, plus two references. A car and driving licence are also needed, as public transport doesn't reach every client. Living in or close to Bude helps keep travel manageable, and cleaners with their own existing round who fancy extra work are just as welcome to apply.
